Why Smart USB Backup?

Smart USB Token

Instead of remembering drive letters, Smart USB Backup places a hidden token on your USB drive. It recognizes your drive even if Windows changes it from F: to H: or Z:.

Automatic Detection

Connect your configured USB drive and backup starts automatically. No buttons. No prompts. No manual work.

Incremental Backup

Only new or modified files are copied. Fast. Efficient. No duplicate backups.

Real-time Monitoring

Whenever files change inside your selected folders, Smart USB Backup copies them automatically.

I taught myself programming and also work as a freelance video editor. In my own editing work, I kept running into the same problem: backing up project files from my hard drive manually, every single time. I looked for a simple, automatic backup tool that just works when a drive is connected — but I couldn't find one that was actually simple. So I built my own.

Smart USB Backup is that tool. I'm releasing it publicly as a free beta, and I'll keep improving it — more features, more control, and a more advanced tool are already on the way.
